Elicia leads our global R&D team to develop new markets and lending products and also directs our business development and strategy initiatives for Latin America.  Prior to joining Root Capital, she served as a consultant for agricultural, microfinance, and clean technology entities, as Director of Strategy and Development for a market research innovation firm, and as Executive Director for an international community-building organization for teens from conflict regions. Elicia holds a BA in international studies from Colby College and an MBA from Cornell University.
